We will identify elements that have the greatest potential to impact wellness in your project design and development through conscious and effective facility designs, programming, and access to related resources and support services.
LEARNING AND EDUCATION
FACILITIES
The focus of health and well-being within spaces of learning is crucial; taking on added importance as it plays a vital role in the educational development of students (of all ages) and setting them up for success. Wellness centered approaches to mental and physical health not only allows the health and safety of pupils, but also teachers and educators. Learning and education facilities should be a top priority in any city's sustainability development plan.
SENIOR LIVING FACILITIES
This demographic shift presents unique challenges for senior living developers who must create appealing living spaces for residents while attracting and retaining staff from a different generation. Since over half of seniors' health issues can be mitigated through behavioral changes and adjustments to their living environments, aging in place will be a popular choice. However, community living will remain crucial. Wellness-centered senior communities can enhance satisfaction and quality of life and reduce hospital admissions.
"We create healthier environments that lead to enhanced employee and occupant retention, satisfaction and well-being."
